About

Hello, I’m Melanie.

With over 15 years in the jewelry industry, I bring extensive experience designing fine, bridge, and costume jewelry. I hold a B.F.A. in Metals and Jewelry from The Savannah College of Art and Design and am trained in traditional silversmithing, lapidary, and metalwork. While Adobe Illustrator is my preferred design medium, I also excel in hand rendering and am proficient in a range of digital design tools.

I am deeply versed in brand identity, mass-market retail, private label, and specialized retail needs. My intricate understanding of replenishment programs, sales drivers, and best sellers informs how I approach, design, and execute every project.

My career has taken me across the globe, providing firsthand expertise in materials, sourcing, and manufacturing. This knowledge allows me to streamline processes and deliver results within tight timelines.

For the past four years, I’ve worked as an independent contractor, establishing and nurturing strong client relationships. I’m proud to say that while I continue to expand my client roster, the clients who partnered with me in my first year are still with me today—proof of the trust, transparency, and value I strive to bring to every collaboration.

Collaboration is at the heart of my work. I’ve honed strong communication skills across departments, satellite offices, and international markets, and I value feedback and team growth. I also maintain trusted relationships with factories worldwide, giving me a comprehensive perspective on both domestic and global markets.

In 2021, I formally launched my independent design and consulting business with the goal of building long-term partnerships rooted in transparency, reliability, and exceptional design quality. Clients know they can count on me for clear communication, respect for their workflow, and consistent delivery on deadlines.
